Microsoft Ventures hat zusammen mit der Madrona Venture Group, Notion Capital und Vertex Ventures Israel den weltweiten Wettbewerb Innovate.AI gestartet. Gesucht werden innovative Startups, die zukunftsweisende L\u00f6sungen mit k\u00fcnstlicher Intelligenz (KI) entwickeln. Insgesamt sind 3,5 Millionen US-Dollar Venture-Capital sowie zwei Millionen US-Dollar als Microsoft Azure-Guthaben als Preisgelder ausgelobt.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ab sofort k\u00f6nnen sich Startups, die intelligente Anwendungen, Services oder Plattformen mit k\u00fcnstlicher Intelligenz entwickeln, bei Microsoft bewerben. Der internationale Wettbewerb \u201eInnovate.AI\u201c findet in Nordamerika (Kanada, Mexiko, USA), Europa und Israel statt. Pro Region wird ein Gewinner gek\u00fcrt, der jeweils eine Million US-Dollar Venture-Capital sowie ein Microsoft Azure Guthaben in H\u00f6he von 500.000 US-Dollar erh\u00e4lt.<\/p>\n

„Potenzial f\u00fcr nachhaltige L\u00f6sungen“<\/h3>\n

Zus\u00e4tzlich vergibt Microsoft Ventures gemeinsam mit seinen Partnern den Preis \u201eAI for Good\u201c, mit dem die innovativste L\u00f6sung f\u00fcr ein gesellschaftliches Problem ausgezeichnet wird. Der Preis beinhaltet ein weiteres Investment in H\u00f6he von 500.000 US-Dollar von Microsoft Ventures sowie 500.000 US-Dollar Azure-Guthaben.<\/p>\n

sagt Nagraj Kashyap<\/strong>, Corporate Vice President und Global Head von Microsoft Ventures.<\/p>\n

„Sie hat das Potenzial f\u00fcr nachhaltige L\u00f6sungen, die allen helfen und die gro\u00dfen Herausforderungen unserer Zeit adressieren. Es freut uns besonders, f\u00fcr Innovate.AI starke VCs als Partner zu haben, mit denen wir ein gemeinsames Ziel verfolgen: die F\u00f6rderung von Innovationen im Bereich KI.“<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Microsoft verfolgt laut eigener Aussage das Ziel, k\u00fcnstliche Intelligenz f\u00fcr alle gleicherma\u00dfen zug\u00e4nglich und nutzbar zu machen. Aus diesem Grund unterst\u00fctze das Unternehmen Startups, die die Zukunftstechnologie weiterentwickeln. So soll das enorme Potenzial k\u00fcnstlicher Intelligenz schneller nutzbar werden, um beispielsweise Prozesse effizienter zu gestalten \u2013 und letztlich einige der gro\u00dfen gesellschaftlichen Probleme zu l\u00f6sen. Die Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Firmen ist daf\u00fcr ein wichtiger Schritt, um die Entwicklung von intelligenten Anwendungen voranzutreiben.<\/p>\n

Zehn Finalisten pro Region<\/h3>\n

Bis zum 31. Dezember 2017<\/strong> k\u00f6nnen sich Startups f\u00fcr \u201eInnovate.AI\u201c bewerben. Zwei Voraussetzungen m\u00fcssen f\u00fcr die Teilnahme erf\u00fcllt sein: Zum einen darf ein Startup bis zum Bewerbungstag insgesamt nicht bereits mehr als vier Millionen US-Dollar in Form von Wagniskapital oder Darlehen erhalten haben. Zum anderen muss es ein Produkt, einen Service oder eine Plattform entwickeln, die k\u00fcnstliche Intelligenz nutzt oder zumindest in Zukunft einsetzen wird.<\/p>\n
