Insempra develops bio-based and biodegradable synthetic ingredients, materials, and fibers. The startup aims to offer sustainable alternatives to materials currently produced primarily from agricultural or petrochemical sources, as their production often involves environmental pollution and the exploitation of natural resources. For example, Insempra's Biotreasure team uses a special yeast to produce materials such as polyesters and polyamides from plant residues, used cooking oil, or PET waste. This development is also supported by a Sprint promotion<\/a> supported. Functional ingredients such as flavors or fragrances are already on the market with Insempra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now could the startup<\/a> The startup has successfully closed its Series A funding round, raising \u20ac18.6 million ($20 million). The funding was led by existing investor EQT Ventures. Other investors include Bayern Kapital, Henkel dx Ventures, and Alante Capital. Existing investors BlueYard Capital, Possible Ventures, Taavet Sten, and Acequia Capital also participated in the round. The startup plans to use the new funds to further develop and launch its products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
