Medtech InformMe becomes part of Medavis

The Munich-based startup InformMe set out to digitize patient communication in doctors' offices and hospitals. Now, the medtech company has been acquired by the Karlsruhe-based Medavis Group.

Founded in 2021, the startup InformMe aims to digitize all patient communication – from education to the transmission of test results. Central to this is the... Munich's web app-based platform. Thanks to this technology, every document can be digitized and integrated into the clinic's workflow. Patients can then access information and fill out forms on their own smartphones. The data is then transferred to the clinic in compliance with GDPR regulations. Clinics can subsequently manage patients digitally, react quickly to unexpected circumstances, and identify high-risk patients in real time.

Medavis The company specializes in process optimization in radiology and also offers clinics and practices various solutions for cross-site networking and communication with colleagues and patients. The group's strategy focuses on providing advanced and sustainable cloud solutions for networked radiology. Through this merger, the Karlsruhe-based medium-sized company is now expanding its portfolio with the offerings of InformMe. The Munich-based startup will remain independent under the leadership of co-founders Dr. Joshua Gawlitza and Jonas Eicher.
